The short answer

What does solar panel installation involve on the Central Coast?

Fusion starts with your power bills and how you use power through the day, then sizes the array and inverter to that. The install covers panels, inverter, any switchboard upgrade and the Ausgrid connection paperwork, and an SAA accredited installer signs it off, which the federal small-scale rebate requires.

Highly recommend Fusion for any electrical work. Great communication and response. Josh has carried out previous jobs for us and is always excellent. Lachlan attended our last job. He was great! Text as he was on his way, arrived on time, checked everything thoroughly and was very informative. Lovely guy to deal with. Thanks Fusion, a great team!

We recently used Fusion Project for electrical upgrades, CCTV installation, and a new security system, and the whole experience was excellent. The team was professional, reliable, and communicated clearly throughout the entire process. Their workmanship was outstanding, everything was installed neatly, and they took the time to make sure everything was working perfectly before they left.

What a fantastic experience working with Fusion. The team, especially Lachy, were great to deal with from start to finish. Lachy was incredibly efficient and professional with the work he carried out. He helped us install our new TV and iPad for the performance testing section in our gym, and it looks unreal.

Solar Installation · Central Coast

Solar that's sized for YOUR home, not the cheapest quote

Solar is one of the best investments a Central Coast homeowner can make, but only if it is sized and installed properly. An undersized system does not save you enough, an oversized system takes too long to pay back, and a poorly installed system causes problems for years.

Fusion designs every system around your actual consumption data and your roof's orientation and shading, not a one-size package. We supply Tier-1 panels and premium inverters from Sigenergy, GoodWe, Sungrow, Tesla and more, and our own licensed electricians handle the wiring and switchboard work, with no subbed work.

Federal STC rebates are deducted from your quote upfront, and we handle any NSW scheme paperwork plus the grid connection application with Ausgrid or Essential Energy, so the whole job stays with one SAA-accredited team from the first site visit to the final certificate.

How much does solar cost on the Central Coast?
It depends on system size. A typical 6.6kW system runs $5,000 to $8,500 after rebates; a 10kW system $8,000 to $13,000 after rebates. We give a fixed quote after a free site visit, no obligation. Use code FUSION10 for 10% off your first job.
Are you a Solar Accreditation Australia (SAA) accredited installer?
Yes. Solar Accreditation S5891364. SAA accreditation is required to claim federal STC rebates and is the recognised standard for solar installers in Australia.
Do you handle the grid connection paperwork?
Yes. We manage the full process, including the application to your network operator (Ausgrid or Essential Energy) for export approval.
Do you handle the rebate paperwork?
Yes. Federal STC rebates are deducted from your quote upfront, so you never pay the full price. We also handle any NSW state scheme paperwork like the Peak Demand Reduction Scheme (PDRS) where eligible.
How long does installation take?
Most residential systems are installed in 1 to 2 days. Grid connection paperwork takes another 2 to 4 weeks before you can export power, but the system runs and saves you money from day one.
